The world's most endangered dolphin could recover if current protection methods were extended to cover an area 100m deep throughout the species' habitat, a review has revealed. Hector's dolphin is a small marine mammal that lives in the waters around New Zealand - there are only around 7,300 individuals of the two subspecies left.
