The first new species of dinosaur discovered in Madagascar in nearly a decade has been announced, filling an important gap in the island's fossil record. Dahalokely tokana belongs to a group of carnivorous dinosaurs known as abelisauroids and is estimated to have grown to around 4 metres long, and lived around 90 million years ago.
